© Dörthe Hagenguth

In preparation for studying in Germany, you can take a German course in Cameroon.

Generally, it is recommended that student visa applicants have language skills at B1 level. After their arrival in Germany, they will be able to complete their language training up to level C1, the level required for final admission as a student in Germany.

Further Information

All details on German courses and TestDaF are available at the Goethe-Institut Kamerun.

However, it is possible to take German courses in Cameroon up to level C1 and take the TestDaF (Test of German as a Foreign Language) at the Goethe-Institut in Yaoundé.

The offer of German language courses in Cameroon is very varied with the Goethe-Institut, its partner centres (Sprachlernzentren) in Bafoussam and Douala and other private language centres.
