German universities, like most universities around the world, maintain a broad network of international partnerships. The DAAD supports such international partnerships through a number of schemes that aim to foster cooperation among higher education institutions.

University Landscape & General Advice for Cooperation

Cooperation between foreign universities and German higher education institutions (HEI) include the academic exchange of students and/or professors, as well as regular scientific projects. Nevertheless, there is an even greater potential for establishing new collaboration in diverse fields of science.
